HMO Exchange Data |
Purpose |
HMO Data Exchange in ImmTrac2 is a tool that is used to designate the type of "Electronic File format" the HMO provider organization wants to use to send data to ImmTrac2.
Information Provided |
A provider can choose between 2 data types of electronic file formats: Flat File and HL-7.
Exchange Data Settings |
Any provider organization wanting to exchange data with ImmTrac2 must first call the state immunization program to set up a data exchange request.
Provider Organization is not set up to exchange data- If a Provider Organization has not been set up to exchange data this screen will display a message stating 'Please contact ImmTrac2 staff to set up data exchange setting for your organization.'
Pending Exchange Data- Provider Organizations can only run 1 data exchange job at a time. If a Provider Organization tries to run a data exchange job while one is already running for the Provider Organization then a message will display on this screen stating 'Processing has not completed for previous data exchange.'
Data Types |
Flat File Format: Immunization data is passed to ImmTrac2 using three flat files containing Client, Immunization (optional), and Comment information (optional) respectively.
HL-7 File Format: The ANSI HL7 standard is widely used for data exchange in the health care industry.
