Combination Vaccine Group Information

 Purpose

The Combination Vaccine Group Information screen allows a user to modify or delete existing combination vaccine groups or add new series combination vaccine groups.

Information Provided

Field Name

Description

Schedule name

Displays the name of the schedule the user is modifying/creating.

Description

Displays the description of the schedule the user is modifying/creating.

Grace Period in Days

Displays the grace period that applies to the schedule the user is modifying/creating.

Current Combination Vaccine Group

Displays the name of the current combination vaccine group the user is modifying/creating.

Click this button to save the combination vaccine group you are working on and return to the Schedule Details Screen.

Column Name

Description

Vaccine Groups Combined

Displays the list of single vaccine groups that are included in the combination vaccine group.

Combine Immunization History

Displays Yes if Combination Vaccine Group rules are set to be applied to the client Immunization History.

Combine Immunization Forecast

Displays Yes if Combination Vaccine Group rules are set to be applied to the client Immunization Forecast.

Description

Combination Vaccine Group

Displays the name of the combination vaccine group.

Vaccine Group 1, 2, ...

Displays the name of each vaccine group included in the combination vaccine group.

Displays the earliest date the vaccine group combination can be given to a client.

Recommended Date

Displays the recommended date for the Combination Vaccine Group to be given to a client.

Overdue Date

Displays the overdue date for the Combination Vaccine Group.

Latest Date

Displays the latest date the Combination Vaccine Group can be given to a client.

Vaccine / Series Display

Shows the selected Vaccine/Series that will be displayed for the combination vaccine group in “recommended vaccine” sections.

Field Name

Description

Combination Vaccine Group Name

Required.  This is the  name of the vaccine group that will display as the combination vaccine group.

Available Vaccine Groups

Displays a list of vaccine groups available to be included in the combination vaccine group.

Selected Vaccine Groups

Displays the list of vaccine groups selected to be included in the combination vaccine group.

Combine Immunization History

Indicates whether or not the Combination Vaccine Group rules are set to be applied to the client Immunization History.

Combine Immunization Forecast

Indicates whether or not the Combination Vaccine Group rules are set to be applied to the client Immunization Forecast.

 

Command Button

Description

Clicking the Add button will move the selected vaccine group from the Available Vaccine Groups list box to the Selected Vaccine Groups list box.

Clicking the Remove button will move the selected vaccine group from the Selected Vaccine Groups list box to the Available Vaccines list box.

 

Column Name

Description

Combination Vaccine Group: [name]

Displays the name of the Combination Vaccine Group.  The column also contains a row of series values for each dose for any of the selected vaccine groups.  The number of rows depends on how many doses are in the vaccination group series.

Vaccine Group [1, 2, ...]: [name]

Displays the name for each selected vaccine group included in the combination vaccine group.  The number of columns will depend on the number of vaccine groups in the combination vaccine group.

Each column contains a drop down menu in each row of the table. The default value is "Select one", and the value cannot be saved. The drop down menu also contains a list of series values, up to the maximum number of doses that exists for the selected vaccine groups.  The values in the pick list will be in the format "# of #".  The value "Booster" will exist if a 'display as booster' or 'repeating booster’ dose exists for a series.  The value "n/a" exists for the case that one vaccine group series requires less doses than another (i.e. Measles 2, Mumps 2, and Rubella 1.)

Earliest Date

Displays a drop down list with values "select earliest" and "select latest".  When combining the Earliest Dates of multiple selected vaccine groups, either the earliest or the latest of the dates can be selected to be displayed as the combination vaccine group's Earliest Date.

Recommended Date

Displays a drop down list with values "select earliest" and "select latest".  When combining the Recommended Dates of multiple selected vaccine groups, either the earliest or the latest of the dates can be selected to be displayed as the combination vaccine group's Recommended Date.

Overdue Date

Displays a drop down list with values "select earliest" and "select latest".  When combining the Overdue Dates of multiple selected vaccine groups, either the earliest or the latest of the dates can be selected to be displayed as the combination vaccine group's Overdue Date (or Past Due Date).

Latest Date

Displays a drop down list with values "select earliest" and "select latest".  When combining the Latest Dates of multiple selected vaccine groups, either the earliest or the latest of the dates can be selected to be displayed as the combination vaccine group's Latest Date.

 

Forecast Status

Description

Contraindicate

A comment exists that contraindicates the vaccine group.  A vaccine-specific contraindication does not trigger the contraindicated status.

Maximum Doses Exceeded

The number of immunizations administered has reached or exceeded the maximum doses limit for the series.  Count of doses does not consider validation.

Maximum Age Exceeded

Series has reached the maximum age.

Immune

An immunity comment exists for the vaccine group.

Pending

Status used when a result read is pending after a Smallpox immunization.

Recommend

Client has reached the forecasted earliest date based on age or interval for the vaccine to be recommended.

Complete

Series is Complete.

Null

A null status means that the vaccine group will be recommended at some point, but it isn't at the moment because the client hasn't reached the Earliest Date to receive the current vaccine dose in the series.

 

Command Button

Description

Clicking the Up button will move the selected forecast status higher in the Forecast Status Priority list box.

Clicking the Down button will move the selected forecast status lower in the Forecast Status Priority list box.
