The Schedule Information screen allows a user to modify an existing series or add new series.

Complete Series Tab - The Complete Series Tab displays a summary of the series in 5 separate tables described in the tables below.
Series Table - Displays rules that are associated with the series.

Acceptable Vaccines Table - Displays Acceptable Vaccines and Acceptable Vaccine Rules for the series.

Unacceptable Vaccine Groups Table - Specifies which vaccines are not acceptable as an option for the current vaccine series.

Series Tab - The Series Tab displays rules that are specific to the series. Each rule is in a separate tab.
Series Name Section - This section displays vaccine series information that determines specific rules for the series.

This check box if checked specifies the Grace Period for the schedule applies to the minimum age for the series. |

Grace Period Applies to Maximum Ages |
This check box if checked specifies the Grace Period for the schedule applies to the maximum age for the series. |
Acceptable Vaccines Tab - Allows a user to specify rules to add acceptable vaccines to a series. The rules are displayed in 5 sections described below.
Acceptable Vaccines - This section allows the user to add an acceptable vaccine to the series and designate a primary vaccine.
Add an Acceptable Vaccine
Select a Vaccine from the Available Vaccines menu.
Click the Add button. This will add the vaccine to the Acceptable Vaccine(s) menu.
Select a Primary Vaccine
Select a Vaccine from the Primary Vaccine drop down menu.
Delete an Acceptable Vaccine
Select a Vaccine from the Acceptable Vaccine(s) menu.
Click the Remove button.
Associated Trade names with Acceptable Vaccines - This section allows the user to create Age Rules for a specific Trade Name. These rules may differ from the ages specified for the series.
Add a Minimum and/or Maximum age that will apply to the Trade Name selected. NOTE *Not specifying a Minimum Age or Maximum Age will default the age rule to the series age rules.*
Select a Vaccine from the Vaccine drop down menu.
Select a Trade Name from the Trade Name drop down menu.
Enter the Trade Name Minimum Age in the Minimum Age text box.
Select a value from the Minimum Age interval drop down menu (Day, Month, Year).
Enter the Trade Name Maximum Age in the Maximum Age text box.
Select a value from the Maximum Age interval drop down menu (Day, Month, Year).
Click the Add button.
Dose Size Rules - This section allows the user to specify Dose Size Rules for vaccines based on age.
Add a Dose Size Rule. NOTE *Not specifying a Minimum Age or Maximum Age will default the age rule to the series age rules for the dose size rule.*
Select a Vaccine from the Vaccine drop down menu.
Enter the Dose Size of the Vaccine in the Size text box.
Select the Multiplier of the Multitude for the Dose Size from the Mult drop down menu.
Enter the Minimum Age for the Dose Size Rule in the Minimum Age text box.
Select a value from the Minimum Age interval drop down menu (Day, Month, Year).
Enter the Maximum Age for the Dose Size Rule in the Maximum Age text box.
Select a value from the Maximum Age interval drop down menu (Day, Month, Year).
Click the Add button
Immunization Record Display Constraints - This section allows the user to specify when the vaccine is displayed based on an age range.
Add an Immunization Record Display Constraint. NOTE *Not specifying a Minimum Age will default as being no minimum age or not specifying a Maximum Age will default to being no maximum age.*
Select a Vaccine from the Vaccine drop down menu.
Enter the Minimum Age for the Immunization record to display.
Select a value from the Minimum Age interval drop down menu (Day, Month, Year).
Enter the Maximum Age for the Immunization record to display.
Select a value from the Maximum Age interval drop down menu (Day, Month, Year).
Click the Add button.
Acceptable Vaccine Summary - This section displays all of the Acceptable Vaccine Rules for the series in a table described below.

Select |

Maximum Doses Tab - This tab displays a section to add Maximum Dose Rules to the series.
Add a Maximum Dose Rule.
Enter a value in the Max Dose text box.
Enter a value in the Age text box.
Select a value in the Age interval drop down menu (Days, Months, Years).

Trade Name Tab - This tab allows a user to specify which Trade Names can fulfill the specific series.
Add a Trade Name Rule.
Select a Trade Name from the Available Trade Name(s) drop down menu.
Click the Add button.

Select a Trade Name from the Selected Trade Name(s) drop down menu.
Click the Remove button.

Alternate Series Tab - This tab displays Alternate series that will replace doses in the series being created.
Alternate Series Addition Section - This section allows the user to replace doses in a series with doses that may have been administered through a different series.
Add an Alternate Series Rule.
Select a Vaccine Group from the drop down menu.
Select a Comparison Item from the Age Comparison drop down menu.
Enter a value in the Age text box.
Select a value from the Age Interval drop down menu (Days, Months, Years).
Enter a value in the Number of doses in alternate series text box.
Enter a value in the Number of doses to be replaced text box.
Click the Add button.
Alternate Series Summary Section - This section displays a table for all alternate series that are associated with this series as described below.

Invoke On Rules Tab - This tab displays three different sections described below.
Invoke On Rules Section - This section is available to specify how the series will be invoked for recommending the vaccine with all options described in the table below.

When this option is checked the series will be invoked when a client has been administered a dose acceptable for the series. |

When this option is selected the series will be invoked when a client is administered the first valid vaccination for this series. |

When this option is checked the series will be invoked for organizations that are designated as high risk organizations. Currently no organization have been set up and high risk and this feature will not be used. |
Invoke on Age |
When this option is checked a minimum age must be entered and a minimum age interval must be selected from the minimum age interval drop down menu. This option will invoke the series upon the minimum age being reached by the client. |
Invoke on Comment |
When this option is checked and a comment is selected the series will invoke upon the comment being added to the client. |
History Required |
When this option is selected the Invoke rules will only take effect if the client has had a prior history of administration of a vaccine for this series. |
Invoke on Mother's HBsAg |
When this option is selected the series will be invoked if a client's Mother's HBsAg status is one of the selected options in this section described below.

Recommended Age Range(s) when no doses received section - This section allows a user to specify the recommended ages for a series before any dose have been administered.
Add a Recommended Age Range NOTE *Not specifying a Minimum Age or Maximum Age will default the minimum age to 0 days and maximum age to unlimited.*
Enter a value in the Minimum Age text box.
Select an option from the Minimum Age Interval drop down menu.
Enter a value in the Maximum Age text box.
Select an option from the Maximum Age Interval drop down menu.
Click the Add button.

Result Rules Tab - This tab is specifically used for small pox test results and validating vaccinations by testing for small pox immunity after a vaccination was given. The tab has 3 different sections each described below.
Result Rules Section - This section indicates the read intervals for the result of the test.
Add a Result Rule
Enter a value in the Minimum Interval text box.
Select an option from the Minimum Interval day interval pick list.
Enter a value in the Recommended Interval text box.
Select an option from the Recommended Interval day interval drop down menu.
Enter a value in the Overdue Interval text box.
Select an option from the Overdue Interval day interval pick list.
Enter a value in the Maximum Interval text box.
Select an option from the Maximum Interval day interval pick list.
Enter a value in the Interval After Not Valid text box.
Select an option from the Interval After Not Valid day interval drop down menu.
Select an option from the Result drop down menu.
Click the Historical check box to indicate a history of immunization is required for the rule.
Click the Series Is Satisfied check box to indicate the client is immune for the rule.
Click the Add button
Result Rule Summary Section - This section displays the specific result information for the series in a table described below.

Override Rules Tab - This tab allows the user to specify if the client has already completed the primary series by allowing the user to click the disregard primary series check box on the Edit Immunization Screen and the client needs to begin the booster series.

Select an option from the Override Age interval drop down menu.

Unacceptable Vaccine Groups Tab - This tab allows the user to specify unacceptable vaccine groups that will not invoke this series when administered for a different series. These rules are normally used when combination vaccines are acceptable for a series.
Add a Unacceptable Vaccine Group.
Select a Vaccine Group from the Vaccine Groups menu.
Click the Add button.
Remove a Unacceptable Vaccine Group.
Select a Vaccine Group from the Selected Vaccine Group(s) menu.
Click the Remove button.

Vaccine Series Recommendations Tab - This tab is used to populate the Vaccine column, for this series, on the immunization recommendations. There are five sections that are part of this tab and each section is described below. By default the vaccine group will display if no Vaccine/Series rules exist or apply.
Client Conditions affecting Recommendations - This section allows a user to specify a Vaccine or Series to display based on Contraindications /Precautions /Immunities associated with the client.
Add a Condition Vaccine or Series Recommendation Rule.
Select a comment from the Contraindications /Precautions /Immunities drop down menu.
Select a Vaccine or Series from the Vaccine /Series Display drop down menu.
Click the Add button.
Vaccine Conflict Conditions affecting Recommendations - This section allows a user to specify a Vaccine or Series to display based on Intergroup Conflict Rules within the schedule.
Add a Vaccine Conflict Condition Vaccine or Series Recommendation Rule.
Select an Existing Vaccine Conflict Rule from the Existing Vaccine Conflict Rule drop down menu. NOTE *Only acceptable vaccines that are listed as a source of an intergroup conflict will display in this drop down menu.
Select a Vaccine or Series from the Vaccine/Series Display drop down menu.
Click the Add button.
Date Specific Recommendations - This section allows a user to specify a vaccine/series to be recommended due to a possible vaccine shortage.
Add a Date Specific Condition Vaccine or Series Recommendation Rule.
1. Enter a date in the MM/DD/YYYY format in the From Date text box.
Entering a date in the To Date text box is optional, but if added the date format for the To Date text box is MM/DD/YYYY.
Select a Vaccine or Series from the Vaccine/Series Display drop down menu.
Click the Add button.
Vaccine Administration Conditions affecting Recommendations - This section allows the user to specify a Vaccine or Series to display based on Vaccine Administration conditions.
Add a Vaccine Administration Condition affecting Recommendations Vaccine or Series Recommendation Rule.
Select an option from the Vaccine Administered drop down menu.
Select an option from the Comparison drop down menu.
Select an option from the Count drop down menu which is the count of doses for the vaccine administered.
Select an option from the Valid drop down menu which is whether the doses of the vaccine administered were valid doses.
Enter a value in the Min Age text box.
Select an option from the Min Age interval drop down menu (Days, Months, Years).
Enter a value in the Max Age text box.
Select an option from the Max Age interval drop down menu (Days, Months, Years).
Click the Add button.
Vaccine/Series Recommendations Summary - This section displays all the Vaccine/Series Recommendation rules in a table described below for this series.

Doses Tab - The Doses Tab contains all of the dose specific rules displayed in separate tabs as described below.
Booster Section - This section displays two check boxes as described below.

Age Rule Tab - The Age Rule Tab displays age rules for the specific dose in the specified series as described in the table below.

Enter a value in the Minimum Age text box to specify a minimum age the dose can be administered. Select a value from the Minimum Age Interval drop down menu to specify the age interval for the minimum age. |
Recommended Age |
Enter a value in the Recommended Age text box to specify an age the dose should be administered. Select a value from the Recommended Age Interval drop down menu to specify the age interval for the recommended age. |
Overdue Age |
Enter a value in the Overdue Age text box to specify an age the dose would be considered overdue for a client. Select a value from the Overdue Age Interval drop down menu to specify the age interval for the overdue age. |
Maximum Age |
Enter a value in the Maximum Age text box to specify a maximum age the dose can be administered. Select a value from the Maximum Age Interval drop down menu to specify the age interval for the maximum age. |
Adjacent Intervals Tab - The Adjacent Interval Tab displays adjacent rules for a specific dose in the selected series according to when the previous dose was administered in accordance with the intervals specified for this dose to be considered a valid dose.

Non-Adjacent Interval Tab - The Non-Adjacent Interval Tab displays non-adjacent rules for a specific dose in the selected series according to when a previous dose was administered in accordance with the intervals specified for this dose to be considered a valid dose. There are two sections listed below in regards to this tab.
Add a Non-Adjacent Interval section - This section displays 2 columns along with an add button to add a non-adjacent interval.
From the dose number drop down menu, select the dose number previous to this one that has a non-adjacent interval rule with this dose.
Enter a value in the Minimum Interval text box to specify the Minimum Interval for the non-adjacent dose.
Select the Minimum Interval from the Minimum Interval drop down menu.
Click the Add button.
Non-Adjacent Interval Summary section - This section displays all Non-Adjacent Interval rules for this dose in a table described below.

Unacceptable Vaccines Tab - The Unacceptable Vaccines Tab allows the user to specify vaccines that are unacceptable for the specific dose.
Add an Unacceptable Vaccine to the dose.
Select a vaccine from the Series Acceptable Vaccines pick list.
Click the Add button.
Remove an Unacceptable Vaccine to the dose.
Select a vaccine from the Dose Unacceptable Vaccines list.
Click the Remove button.

Jump Forward Tab - The Jump Forward Tab allows the user to specify a number of doses to jump to when a client reaches a certain age and displays two separate sections.
Add a Jump Forward Rule section - This section displays 2 columns along with an add button to add a jump from this dose to another dose based on age.
Enter a value in the Doses to Jump text box.
Enter a value in the Minimum Age to Apply text box as to the numeric value of days, months, or years the Minimum Age is for the doses to be jumped.
Select the Minimum Age to Apply Interval from the Minimum Age to Apply Interval drop down menu.
Click the Add button.
Jump Forward Rules Summary section - This section displays all Jump Forward rules for this dose in a table described below.

Min Interval and Age to Validate Tab - This Tab allows the user to specify when a dose is valid prior to the recommended minimum interval and the options are described below.
Add a Minimum Interval to validate.
Enter a value in the minimum interval to validate text box as to the numeric value of days, months, or years the minimum interval is from a previous dose.
Select the Minimum Interval from the Minimum Interval drop down menu.
Select the Dose that the Minimum Interval is in reference to from the Reference Dose drop down menu.
Add a Minimum Age to validate.
Enter a value in the Minimum Age text box as to the numeric value of days, months, or years the minimum age should be for this dose to be valid.
Select the Minimum Age Interval from the Minimum Age Interval drop down menu.

Dose Details Section - This section displays a table that is described below. When a row in this table is highlighted that is the dose that is being displayed in the tabs above.
