Ad Hoc Report Status Screen |
Purpose |
The Ad hoc Report Status screen allows users to monitor the completion status of the Ad Hoc report that was generated. This screen also provides options for displaying the report.
Information Provided |
Ad Hoc Report Status Section - Displays the status of the submitted report, as described below. Only the most recent Ad Hoc Count and Ad Hoc List reports display. The reports are accessible for a maximum of seven days.

Report Type |
The type of report that was generated. Once complete, displays as a hyperlink that can be clicked to display the Ad Hoc Report Results section. |
Started |
The date and time that the system started to generate the report. |
Completed |
The date and time that the system completed generating the report. |
Status |
The percent complete of the report. Currently running reports will have a percent less than 100%. |
Row Count |
Number of records that met the criteria for the Ad Hoc List report. |

Ad Hoc Report Results Section
Export Options - Allows the user to select the format for the report results.
Export as Text - Displays the results in a new browser tab as a text file where tab spacing separates each column of text. The text option has no limit to the size of the report.
Export as a Spreadsheet - Downloads the results as a spreadsheet in MS Excel. The spreadsheet option has a limit of 65,535 lines. If the report exceeds that, the message "File not loaded completely" displays to indicate that part of the report was cut and will not appear on the spreadsheet.
Display as a PDF - Displays the results in a new browser tab as a PDF file. The PDF option has a limit of about 5,000 lines (119 pages). If the report exceeds that, a red Error Report banner displays.
Report Information (Report ###) - Displays the date the report was generated, the user who generated the report, the organization associated with the user who generated the report, and the report type (count or list).
Report Filters - Displays the filter conditions that were used to run the report.
Ad Hoc Count Report Results View |
The Ad Hoc Count Report Results view displays the items in a table or series of tables depending on how many items are chosen.
One Item Chosen
The item listed in the Factors list is displayed in the first column.
Item Counts display in the second column.
Count Totals display in the last row.
Two Items Chosen
The first item listed in the Factors list is displayed in the first column.
The second item on the Factors list is displayed in row 1 as the column heading(s).
Count Totals are displayed in the last row and last column.
Three Items Chosen
Each type of the first item listed in the Factors list is displayed as a separate table. The item type is the table heading.
The second item listed in the Factors list is displayed in the first row of the tables as column headings.
The third item listed in the Factors list is displayed in the first column.
Count Totals are displayed in the last row and last column for each table.
Ad Hoc List Report Results View |
The Ad Hoc List Report Results view displays the results in a summary table. The criteria selected for the report determine the columns displaying in the results view. By default, 250 rows are visible at a time. If you have more than 250 clients listed, click the "Next 250 >>" link to display more clients in the list.
