Purpose |
The Reminder/Recall Request screen allows users to generate reminder and recall notices for clients in their organization who are due or past due for immunizations. The generated reminder request produces a set of results, including list of clients, mailing labels, cards, and letters.

Functionality |
Create New List - Provides the option to save reminder recall request criteria or use a previously saved list, as described below.
Enter new Reminder Recall Request Criteria - (Default selection) Enter a list name to save a new reminder recall request report that can either be generated as a report or saved as a template for later use.
Use a previous Reminder Recall Request Criteria - Select a list name from the drop down menu to display that template’s criteria. Clicking Save & Generate will generate the report and save any changes made to the criteria template. Clicking Generate will generate the report but will not save any changes made to the criteria.
Select a Client Population - Enables selection of specific populations by organization.
Note: Most users will not have the client population options because their user role defines the client population to be only those client's in the user's organization.
Indicate the Tracking Schedule - Determines the set of recommended immunizations and corresponding dates that will be compared to each client's immunization history.
Use Tracking Schedule Associated with Each Client - (Default selection) Uses the tracking schedule that is associated with each client in the client's record, under Organization Information.
Use Tracking Schedule Selected for All Clients - Select a tracking schedule from the drop down menu to use for all clients.
Select the Vaccine Group to Report on - Provides the option to filter by any given vaccines within the selected tracking schedule.
Use All Vaccine Groups - (Default selection) Uses all vaccine groups within the selected tracking schedule.
Use Vaccine Groups Selected - Select specific Vaccine Groups within the selected tracking schedule by clicking a listed item from the menu in the left box and then clicking the Add button to move it to the right box. To remove an item from the right box, select it and click the Remove button.
Vaccines Due Now - (Default selection) Filters for clients that have at least one of the selected vaccine groups with a recommended date of today and the overdue date is after today.
Vaccines Past Due - Select to filter for clients that have at least one of the selected vaccine groups with an overdue date of today or before today.
Both - Select to filter for clients that have at least one of the selected vaccine groups with a recommended or overdue date of today or before today.
Select Subpotent Recall - Provides the option to filter for clients that have subpotent vaccinations by selecting the check box.
Select the School and Primary Care Provider - Provides options to filter for clients who have been assigned to a particular school or physician in their client record, under Client Information for school assignment and under Organization Information for primary care physician (PCP) assignment.
NOTE: The list of schools is derived from school information set up in the Manage Schools screen. The list of PCPs is derived from clinician information set up in the Manage Clinicians screen.
Enter Additional Demographic Criteria - Provides options to filter for clients whose record matches specific demographic information. The source for each demographic option is described below.

NOTE: Selecting Spanish as the language spoken generates Spanish-language versions of some of the Reminder Request Output Options.
Enter the Date Criteria - Provides options to filter clients by target date and birth date. Entering a target date range returns clients who are due now, are past due, or will be due for the selected vaccine within the specified date range. Entering a birth date range returns clients who have a birth date that falls within the birth date range entered.
Select the Vaccine Groups to Display - Provides the option to only have selected vaccine groups display in the mailings or notices as being recommended. By default all vaccine groups that are due now or past due will display on the report.
Specify How to Sort the Report Data - Allows selection of up to four items to determine how the information in the report is sorted. By default the sort order is Last Name ascending then by First Name ascending. The sorting options are described in the following table.
